Routine only connects with a limited set of tools right now, mainly Google Workspace and Notion. You can add tasks from your email or Notion, but if you rely on other apps, you're out of luck. There's no real support for project management tool integrations yet, and bigger platforms like Slack, Asana, and ClickUp are still just "coming soon", not actually available.
There's also no API, so you can't build custom workflows or connect to anything outside of what's already included. If you need to centralize tasks, calendars, and communication from multiple sources, you still have to do most of it manually. This makes Routine feel pretty basic for integrations, especially compared to what you'd expect from a daily planner aimed at professionals.
