So long as you deposit $5K into your account within 60 days of opening up the account, you're eligible for the $250.

You just need to keep it in your account until the $250 gets deposited into your account. Once you see the $250 deposit from the Mercury referral code, you can take it all out.

We've noticed that the tracking on Mercury's end is at times hit-or-miss. That said, their support team is actually great, and if you simply write them and say that Efficient App sent you, and so long as you used a link to sign up from our site, they'll retroactively give you the credit after they first confirm with us.

They got rid of this promotion, and before you get disappointed over it, let me explain, because it wasn't actually a good offer.

You'll see some other sites advertising this one (even though it doesn't exist anymore), so it needs to be addressed.

The way it worked was a bit complex: you had to spend $10K on debit cards in order to get it, and:

1. You are not getting any cashback rewards on your spend when you do this, and
2. You had to have $10K sitting in your account in order to even spend $10K on a business debit card

So here you are, essentially having an even higher requirement as the $250 deal ($10K deposited and in your account), but to add to that, you also needed to spend $10K, for which you'd actually get $200–300 in credit card rewards using one of the best expense management solutions on the market, like Ramp or BILL Spend & Expense, alongside Mercury.

So what Mercury was essentially proposing here is giving you a delayed reward, and less than you'd make if you just did the original $250 offer alongside just using a business credit card with rewards. So it's not actually a "deal", it's just overly complicated and confusing.
