Additional Details
Additional DetailsFirst of all, be careful with other "Mercury offers" because deals exist where they get $500 and you get $0. The problem is, you won'd actually know this until you sign up with their link, only to find out afterward that you get nothing.
So what I can promise you is that you're actually getting an actual Mercury discount (or rather, a free signup bonus), instead of taking advantage of you like other discount sites (not saying any names).

Mercury $500 Promo
No longer available
You'll see some other sites advertising this one, but the problem is, it's actually a terrible offer once you start reading into it (addressed in the FAQs section), and thus Mercury has killed it off, although some sites still advertise it, so it needs to be addressed.

What if the $250 Mercury referral code didn't work?
What if the $250 Mercury referral code didn't work? We've noticed that the tracking on Mercury's end is at times hit-or-miss. That said, their support team is actually great, and if you simply write them and say that Efficient App sent you, and so long as you used a link to sign up from our site, they'll retroactively give you the credit after they first confirm with us.
Isn't there a $500 Mercury referral code available?
Isn't there a $500 Mercury referral code available? They got rid of this promotion, and before you get disappointed over it, let me explain, because it wasn't actually a good offer.
You'll see some other sites advertising this one (even though it doesn't exist anymore), so it needs to be addressed.
The way it worked was a bit complex: you had to spend $10K on debit cards in order to get it, and:
- You are not getting any cashback rewards on your spend when you do this, and
- You had to have $10K sitting in your account in order to even spend $10K on a business debit card
So here you are, essentially having an even higher requirement as the $250 deal ($10K deposited and in your account), but to add to that, you also needed to spend $10K, for which you'd actually get $200–300 in credit card rewards using one of the best expense management solutions on the market, like Ramp or BILL Spend & Expense, alongside Mercury.
So what Mercury was essentially proposing here is giving you a delayed reward, and less than you'd make if you just did the original $250 offer alongside just using a business credit card with rewards. So it's not actually a "deal", it's just overly complicated and confusing.
