Editor's Verdict

Editor's Verdict

Arc Browser actually delivers real separation between work and personal spaces, so if you need to keep different environments totally distinct (cookies, cache, accounts), Arc nails it while Opera just fakes it with Workspaces that all share the same data under the hood. That clean split is a big deal if you bounce between multiple roles or identities in your browser.

Opera copies Arc's features but doesn't get the real workflow benefits, slick animations and onboarding can't make up for the fact that you can't actually isolate your stuff. If you care about serious organization, actual separation, and want a browser built to save you time rather than show you ads, Arc is the clear pick. Go with Opera only if you're indifferent to these differences or just want more of the same old browser with a new coat of paint.
