Rewardful does a decent job at basic tracking. If all you care about is knowing whether a signup or conversion came from an affiliate link, it generally works fine, especially for simple Stripe based SaaS setups. Where it falls apart is depth. You cannot see which YouTube videos, blog posts, or campaigns are actually converting, which means you and your partners are mostly guessing about what is working. It tracks that something happened, but not why it happened. It's OK on the surface, but not strong enough to properly optimize or scale partnerships.

Payments & Tax Compliance is where Rewardful really struggles. It does not handle payouts in any meaningful way unless you opt into extra, bolted-on solutions. Affiliates are expected to invoice you manually, and you are stuck sending PayPal or ACH payments one by one while separately collecting tax forms and dealing with year-end compliance yourself. This creates a huge amount of unnecessary admin for both sides. The fact that Rewardful does not even use its own payout system for its affiliate program should tell you everything you need to know. It technically works, but it is inefficient and painful.

From a partner’s perspective, Rewardful is not enjoyable or helpful. The problem is that every program using Rewardful requires a separate login, which becomes a nightmare for anyone promoting more than a handful of companies. The reality is, we often forget about partners using Rewardful as they are all isolated on their own islands.

Rewardful’s analytics are shallow. You cannot see which specific pieces of content are driving conversions or revenue, which makes it almost impossible to improve performance over time. Both you and your partners are left flying blind, with no real insight into what is actually working. For serious affiliate or creator-led programs, this lack of visibility is a major limitation and actively holds growth back.

Rewardful is extremely barebones from the affiliate side. You can see basic clicks, leads, and conversions, but there is no EPC, no clear conversion rates, and no meaningful breakdowns. Nothing in the dashboard is actionable or helps an affiliate understand what to double down on. The overall experience signals a very basic, low-effort affiliate program rather than something built to be taken seriously or to actually drive performance.
