Not for power users
Sintra is not for power users, technical founders, or seasoned marketers. In fact, I could not get Alex (our CEO) to even use it for 5 minutes. He said "it looks like I am playing a kids game and it's not a serious business tool 😂". Consider this before pitching your team on using Sintra. If they are more technical or well-versed with AI, they might be skeptical and dismiss it.
Underwhelming Task Execution
While Sintra's AI Helpers were great at coming up with ideas/suggestions for tasks, the actual execution of the tasks was underwhelming. We weren't able to actually use any of the work the helpers did. Entering the same prompts in ChatGPT (that has context on our business since we've been using it for years) consistently yielded better results.
Data Sensitivity Concerns
Every day I logged into Sintra, the AI Helpers had more questions, many of which felt deeply personal to our business. They asked things like our exact revenue metrics, where the majority of our income comes from, and other specific operational details. To be fair, these were smart and relevant questions. But we didn't feel comfortable entering that kind of sensitive data into Sintra.
We're sure Buddy would love to learn that 😂 These types of questions felt too personal for us to consider inputting into a third-party tool like Sintra and definitely raised some eyebrows for us.
This isn't to throw Sintra under the bus - we're not claiming anything shady is going on. But the fact that the thought even crossed my mind ("Is this just a data-harvesting wrapper?") was enough for me to pause. When you're dealing with AI tools in the business space, trust is everything. And in this case, the line between helpful and too personal got a little blurry.
