Comparison Summary

These are both VoIP solutions that we recommend, and have used in our own business.

The distinction for Dialpad vs Aircall ultimately come down to product vs integration. While Dialpad has integrations and an API, unless you're using one of the big CRMs like Salesforce/HubSpot, it doesn't have the best integration.

Aircall on the other hand has more native integrations with more CRMs, but not as great of a UX.

We personally use Dialpad and have a custom integration with Copper as we value the UX it has over Aircall, but would recommend most just go with Aircall instead.

Editor's Verdict

Editor's Verdict

If you want native, out-of-the-box integrations that actually work with your CRM or helpdesk right away, Aircall nails it. You just connect your tools and calls and texts get logged automatically, with barely any setup or fuss. For most teams who care about integration working smoothly without building anything custom, Aircall is the clear choice.

Dialpad, on the other hand, is picky about which native integrations it supports, and even those can be buggy or incomplete. You can get everything working with their API and Zapier, but it takes real work to set up and maintain, and you can't always trust the integrations listed on their site. If you're technical and willing to build, you can make Dialpad fit, but for anyone who just wants integrations that work out of the box, it's frustrating.

So if easy, reliable integrations are your top priority and you don't want to mess with custom builds, pick Aircall. Only go with Dialpad if you're happy to invest time and resources into building your own connections or if you need features Aircall doesn't offer. For most people who want integrations that just work, Aircall makes life a lot simpler.
