You can now automate the creation of Asana tasks upon Copper opportunity stage change without ever leaving Copper with the Efficient Communication.

To get this working, you would make the "from" email the Asana team member you'd like to assign the task to (they must already be an Asana user):

From there, you create tasks by having x@mail.asana(.)com either Bcc'd or Cc'd in the Efficient Communication email template settings.

Formatting

  • The subject line will be the task name
  • The body will be the task description
  • You can cc teammates to add them as task collaborators (they must exist already within Asana)

You can also Create conversations by emailing [team-name]@mail.asana.com.

For example, marketing@mail.asana(.)com goes to the Marketing team, and customer-success@mail.asana(.)com goes to the Customer Success team.
