Attio gives you a flexible, modern setup that takes some work to maintain but is much more approachable than Salesforce for smaller teams. Salesforce only makes sense if you have over 1000 employees; otherwise, use Attio and skip Salesforce entirely.

Editor's Verdict

Editor's Verdict

Attio is way more approachable for most teams, especially if you don't have massive headcount or ultra-complex processes. It's flexible and modern, and while there's a bit of setup, it doesn't demand a huge investment of time or money just to get started or to keep things running.

Salesforce is meant for huge enterprise teams with a thousand-plus employees and deep pockets for consultants. If you're not operating at that scale, using Salesforce is overkill and just adds unnecessary complexity and cost.

Unless you're already running a giant operation with highly complex workflows and a dedicated budget for heavy customization, Attio is the clear pick. Salesforce only makes sense if you're the kind of company that actually needs an "800lb gorilla" and has the resources to tame it. For everyone else, Attio is the smarter, more manageable choice.
