Efficient App Inc. ("Efficient App," "we," "us," or "our") operates efficient.app and related pages, forms, newsletters, software recommendations, partner offers, content, and services (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices available to you.

We may collect the following categories of information:

• Contact and business information, such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, employer, job title, and other information you choose to provide.
• Inquiry and content information, such as messages, form submissions, quiz responses, newsletter signups, support requests, software interests, and similar communications.
• Usage and technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, approximate location, referring URL, pages viewed, clicks, timestamps, and similar website activity.
• Cookie and tracking information used for site functionality, analytics, and limited advertising attribution.
• Payment-related information if you make a purchase, although full payment card details are handled by our payment providers rather than stored by us directly.
• AI-related inputs and outputs if you use any AI-powered tools or features we make available.
• Google account information, if you choose to sign in with Google, as described in Section 7A.

We collect information directly from you when you:

• fill out a form;
• request information or a recommendation;
• take a quiz;
• subscribe to our newsletter;
• contact us;
• make a purchase; or
• otherwise interact with the Service.

We also collect certain information automatically through the website and our service providers when you browse or use the Service.

In some cases, we may receive information from referral sources, partner programs, advertising platforms, or service providers that help us operate the Service.

We use personal information to:

• operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
• provide software recommendations, content, newsletters, deals, and requested resources;
• respond to inquiries and support requests;
• connect you with software companies when you ask us to;
• measure site performance and advertising attribution;
• process purchases and transactions;
• provide AI-powered features, if offered;
• protect the security and integrity of the Service; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Some links on the Service are affiliate or referral links. If you click one of those links or sign up for a product or service through a partner offer, we may receive a commission, referral fee, discount, or similar compensation.

If you submit a form asking for more information about a software company, request pricing, request a demo, or ask us to connect you with a software company, we may share the information you provide with that company so it can follow up with you. This may include your name, email address, phone number, company, employer, job title, and the contents of your request.

We do not sell personal information. We do not rent customer lists or disclose personal information to data brokers.

We may share information:

• with service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, store, and operate the Service;
• with software companies or partners when you ask us to connect you or request information from them;
• with payment providers when you make a purchase;
• with advertising and attribution providers in connection with limited campaign measurement;
• if required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or security; and
• in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.

As of the date of this Privacy Policy, the service providers and tools we may use include Vercel, Cloudflare, Neon, OpenAI, Polar, Fathom Analytics, and Meta. These providers may change from time to time as our stack evolves.

We use a limited set of analytics and tracking tools to understand website performance, improve the Service, and measure marketing effectiveness.

We use Fathom Analytics in a privacy-focused, cookieless configuration to understand general website traffic and performance. We may use the Meta Pixel for limited advertising attribution and campaign measurement. We do not use Google Analytics or other ad networks at this time.

Some parts of the Service may use cookies or similar technologies for essential site functions and limited attribution. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies or similar tracking technologies, including the Meta Pixel.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through any cookie banner or preference tool we provide.

If we offer AI-powered tools, assistants, chat features, or recommendations, the information you submit to those features may be processed by OpenAI and other supporting providers on our behalf to provide the feature, improve reliability, troubleshoot issues, maintain security, and prevent abuse.

Please do not submit highly sensitive, confidential, or regulated information through AI features unless you are comfortable with that information being processed by third-party providers.

Google Sign-In. If you choose to sign in to the Service with Google, we receive your Google account ID, name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We use this information only to create and authenticate your account, link your Google login to your Efficient App account, and display your name and picture within your account. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, contacts, or YouTube account when you sign in.

YouTube API Services. Efficient App uses YouTube API Services in an internal tool that imports videos from Efficient App's own YouTube channel onto efficient.app. This tool is authorized only by Efficient App's own channel account. It reads video metadata from that channel, including video titles, descriptions, thumbnails, publish dates, durations, view counts, and privacy status (public, unlisted, or private). Signing in to efficient.app never gives us access to your YouTube account or data. By using YouTube features on the Service, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). Google's Privacy Policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

How we use and share Google data. We use information received from Google APIs only to provide and improve the features described above. Our use of that information follows the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including its Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data. We do not use it for advertising, advertising attribution, or partner introductions, and we do not share it with software companies or partners. We do not transfer it to others except to service providers that host and operate the Service, when required by law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with notice to you. We do not use Google user data to train AI models.

Storage and retention. If you sign in with Google, we store your Google account ID, name, email address, and profile picture with your Efficient App account until you delete your account or ask us to delete it. We do not store Google access or refresh tokens for sign-in. YouTube video metadata imported from Efficient App's own channel is stored as part of the published video pages on efficient.app.

Revoking access and deleting data. You can revoke Efficient App's access to your Google account at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access stops future access but does not delete data we have already stored. To request deletion of your account and the Google account information we hold, email mail@efficient[dot]app from the address on your account. We will confirm and complete deletion within 7 days.

If you purchase a product or service from us, payment processing may be handled by Polar and its payment partners. We do not store full payment card numbers on our own servers.

If you send us a testimonial, quote, customer story, feedback, or similar content and authorize us to use it, we may display it on our website, in case studies, or in other marketing materials together with the name, company, title, or other details you approve.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security.

Retention of information received from Google is described in Section 7A.

Efficient App is based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet or method of storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Any user may contact us to request access to or deletion of the personal information we have collected from them. California residents have additional rights under applicable law. We will review and respond to reasonable requests consistent with applicable law, verification requirements, and any legal exceptions.

We do not sell personal information.

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. Because there is no uniform industry standard for responding to these signals, we do not currently respond to browser-based Do Not Track signals.

However, third parties such as Meta may collect information about your activity on our site and, depending on their technology and settings, across other websites or services over time, as described in this Privacy Policy.

The Service is intended for a business and professional audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above.
