Editor's Verdict
Editor's VerdictTown spots work to take off your plate; Stilla expects you to decide what to automate first. Choose Town for delegating everyday admin, especially if you're a founder, salesperson, recruiter, or manage lots of relationships. It notices repeated follow-ups and recurring emails, then offers to handle them rather than waiting for instructions.
Stilla is suited to technical teams and operators who already know which workflows they want automated. Its strength is turning meeting discussions into follow-up across company tools, with granular controls over what it can read and change. For engineering syncs, it can suggest Linear updates for approval, and 80% to 90% of those suggestions were useful enough to accept.
Town's standout advantage is coordination: your Townie can work with teammates' Townies to schedule meetings without sharing calendar access or handle requests while you're away. Team adoption takes some learning, and you'll need to sort through its many suggestions. Stilla puts more of that work upfront, with a busy interface and setup that requires a clear plan.
Town is the stronger AI work assistant for most people. Stilla makes sense for deliberate, meeting-driven technical workflows, but missed meetings or missing permissions leave gaps in its understanding. Its future is also uncertain following Meta's September 2026 acquisition, which makes it harder to recommend for new adoption.
