Comparison Summary

Monday tries to be everything and ends up not really working well for most, while Salesforce is strictly for giant enterprise teams.

Only use Salesforce if you have over 1000 employees; skip Monday unless you have no other options and nothing else fits.

Editor's Verdict

Editor's Verdict

Monday and Salesforce both demand a lot of upfront setup, but Salesforce is strictly for huge enterprise teams with complex, established processes and big budgets for consultants. If you don't have at least 1000 employees or hundreds of thousands to spend on implementation, Salesforce is a nonstarter.

Monday tries to be the all-in-one option but still requires a good amount of customization and process mapping to avoid abandonment. It's not plug-and-play for small teams, but it's still more approachable than Salesforce and can work if you're willing to put in the setup effort.

If you're under 1000 employees or not running a massive, complex operation, Monday is the only realistic choice here. Salesforce is only worth considering if you're a large enterprise with deep pockets and very specific needs. For everyone else, Monday is the less punishing hill to climb.
