Editor's Verdict

Editor's Verdict

There was once upon a time when I wouldn't attend an appointment or in-person meeting with Otter recording. It was ahead of its time, transcribing the entire call (pre-AI).

That said, Wispr Flow has taken it's spot. But what you should know is that Wispr Flow is primarily a voice dictation app that works across your computer and phone (read the full Wispr Flow review). But, they've gotten so good at word recognition, the next logical step was to create a meeting recorder.

Wispr Flow is super accurate and detects speakers well, aka who said what.

While there is nothing wrong with Otter, it just wasn't a tool we continued to use long-term.
