Comparison Summary

Comparison Summary

Safari gives you a stable, familiar experience with great battery life and smooth syncing if you use all Apple devices, while Vivaldi only makes sense if you need to customize every button and dislike standard layouts.

Only use Vivaldi if you really want total control over the interface; stick with Safari for reliability and a smoother Apple ecosystem.

Editor's Verdict

Editor's Verdict

If you care about modern user experience and don't want your browser to feel dated, Safari is the safer pick. Vivaldi lets you tweak almost every button and color, but the whole thing still feels stuck in 2015, so all that customization ends up trapped in a stale design. Unless you're obsessed with moving every button exactly where you want, Safari's stable, familiar interface will look and feel better, especially if you use other Apple devices.

Vivaldi is only worth it if you absolutely need extreme customization and don't mind a clunky, old-school vibe. For everyone else, Safari gives you a cleaner, more cohesive experience, even if it's not exciting.
