Dia Browser is a minimal, AI-powered alternative to Chrome from the team behind Arc Browser. While still in early alpha (and invite-only), Dia is designed to feel familiar to Chrome users, but with AI built directly into the browsing experience. You can ask it to summarize articles, answer questions about open tabs or YouTube videos, and generally assist with light research—all in a very clean, approachable interface.
That said, it’s very much an experimental product right now and feels a bit barebones. It’s not built for productivity-focused users or those who want deep customization—Arc is still the better choice there. But if you’re looking for a more intelligent version of Chrome that lowers the barrier to AI tools, Dia might be worth keeping an eye on—especially for more casual users or anyone just starting to explore what AI in a browser can do.
