If browser extension support matters to you, Opera is the clear pick here. Zen Browser is built on Firefox, so if you're coming from Chrome or Safari, almost none of your extensions will work (only 2 out of 29 ported over), which is a huge pain if you rely on them for your workflow.
Opera doesn't have this problem and brings over all the familiar extension support you'd expect, plus it offers extra features like Workspaces and tab groups that try to keep things organized. Zen Browser only makes sense if you're deeply committed to Firefox and want a sidebar-heavy, Arc-inspired look, but you'll hit extension compatibility issues and more web bugs since most sites are optimized for Chromium browsers.
Unless you specifically want a Firefox base and can live without your extensions, Opera is just less hassle for everyday use.
