Is Superhuman Mail still worth it in 2026? Honest Review.

We are living in a weird time.

Everyone feels behind.

Everything is dead.

What's the point of anything?

If I spend too much time online, that's the headspace I get into.

What's the point of reviewing software? Everyone is just vibe coding their own!

What's the point of even having an opinion on software? AI will just tell people what they want to hear!

OK, I promise, this is going somewhere 😅 I'm not in despair

But then I pause and look at my own behavior and I question everything I'm hearing out there.

For example: email.

Claude & ChatGPT now connect with Gmail.

They can draft replies and summarize emails for you.

OK, cool cool.

Then Alex randomly got recommended a video about someone using Codex to build their own email client.

It was a Saturday morning. He tried it.

The guy even gave him the entire prompt to write in.

Should be so easy, right?

Well, he ran into usage limits after the single prompt lol.

Then he realized he'd need to host it.

And the interface was hideous.

And then I think of the same email tool I've used for 6 years. Superhuman Mail.

If you've been subbed long enough surely you've heard me talk about it.

And I think, every time I open my email, how "all software is dead".

Yet, "how I much I still enjoy using Superhuman 😅"

I think about what makes the software good. It's so many little features.

The UI.

The minimalism.

I use the AI features, of course.

Being able to chat with Alex candidly under each email.

It connects with Claude via MCP so I can tell Claude to do anything in my inbox, but guess what? I just go to Superhuman anyway cause I like the interface.

So this is all to say, I don't know what's going on out there, but I do know I still like software. And Superhuman Mail as my inbox 😅

And no, I don't want to build my own version of it to save $30/mo.

And no, I don't want to think about building software updates or dealing with bugs.

I just want a pretty email client, that is fast, that lets me collaborate with my team, and then, get away from email.

So that's my story.

If you're using Superhuman and have heard all the noise out there, take this as your permission to keep loving it. K? And let this apply to whatever software the world is trying to convince you that you don't need right now.
