We've asked the software companies on our website if we could pass along a discount or deal, and sometimes they let us... but most of the time they can't due to billing complexities. Billing complexities are often the reason why you won't often find software deals out there.

How Much We Make

Software affiliate ranges anywhere from a small percentage of monthly spend (e.g. 15%), usually for the first year of a new customer to a small flat rate when you sign up. So if you're a solo seat account, on the lowest tier, and you cancel shortly thereafter—congrats! You just just got yourself any freebie we're offering by paying us less than a cup of coffee from your local Starbucks, gosh, talk about bargain shopping!

What Will You Do With The Money?

We're investing any affiliate revenue directly back into creating more software comparison videos and software reviews. And as you'll see on our site, you'll only find modern software that we think is worth vetting (not every random tool that we'd actually never recommend).

With other review sites like G2 and other sites, you're actually getting pretty sub-par advice, and they just want your IP address to sell it back to the software on the site. It's clever, but just a race to the bottom. They don't care if you get value from their content. Though what we've seen is that on other sites, you simply click the link, purchase, and the site benefits.

We want to create more useful write-ups and videos (similar to that which sent you to this page right here), so we've decided to sweeten the deal.
