Review Summary
Review SummaryTickTick is a barebones task management app with decent functionality. When comparing it to the more modern task management apps, it feels quite dated. But if you want something that is just functional and free, TickTick is worth giving a shot.

What is TickTick?
What is TickTick?TickTick is a basic personal task management app. You can easily add to-dos, notes, priorities, and deadlines. You can also categorize tasks via labels into categories.
Who is TickTick for?
Who is TickTick for?The people who love and use TickTick tend to use it for managing their tasks around the house and their personal life. It has a very generous free tier, so it's a good to-do app if you can never see yourself wanting to pay for a task management app (in fact, we don't know anyone who uses the paid tier of TickTick).
Key Features
Key FeaturesTickTick doesn't have any standout features, although it's a basic, well-functioning task app.
Limitations
LimitationsTickTick is quite a dated app đ They haven't upgraded their interface in a long time and it feels cluttered and, well, old. On top of that, their calendar syncing integration only works every 15 minutes or so due to their dated infrastructure. With any new task management app, calendar syncing is nearly instant.
TickTick is also very much for managing personal life tasks, it should not be considered for team/business use. The collaboration features in TickTick are secondary (e.g. made for sharing a task with your spouse) and lackluster.
Final Verdict
Final VerdictIs TickTick worth it? It's worth it if you want something super basic to manage your tasks (think of just one level up from Apple Notes or Google Keep). But if you have work-related tasks, projects, or need any type of collaboration, consider another task management app that is more robust.
