Comparison Summary

Edge pulls in some AI features through Copilot, but it's mostly just a wrapper for ChatGPT and doesn't stand out much, while Sidekick's productivity features feel outdated and the design is lacking even compared to other browsers.

Stick with Edge if you have to pick between these two, as Sidekick does not deliver on its productivity claims or user experience.

Editor's Verdict

Editor's Verdict

Edge at least manages to be a capable browser, even if it feels dated and its AI features are mostly just a basic wrapper for ChatGPT. It still works, especially if you're tied into Microsoft's ecosystem.

Sidekick, on the other hand, doesn't keep up with current browser standards. Its once-unique productivity features are now everywhere, and its design lags behind competitors. Plus, it was acquired and shut down, so there's no future or support.

If you have to pick between these two, Edge actually works and is still available, while Sidekick is obsolete and unsupported. Edge is the only real choice here.
